Our Wedding

In the summer of 2024, on a whim, we took a flight to New York City for the Fourth of July weekend. Saturday, while sitting at lunch and wondering what adventure the day might hold, we decided to take a trip to Tiffany &amp; Co. to finalize the engagement rings we had once picked out a few months prior. As we sipped champagne and admired the rings, we went ahead and made the purchase. Back at our hotel, we carefully placed the rings in the safe, but we couldn’t resist heading downstairs for a celebratory martini. Once back in the room, curiosity (and excitement!) got the better of us.. (Lawson). We tried the rings on again—and that’s when the conversation happened: “What if we got engaged right now?” After smiles, tears and embrace, we slid the rings on each other’s fingers and knew we were ready for the next big step in our lives together. It was spontaneous, intimate, and perfect—The beginning of the rest of our adventure.

We’re encouraging all of our guests to stay at The Hotel Chalet in Chattanooga, as this will be the location for our welcome party as well as where we will be providing shuttle service to and from the wedding venue—making it the perfect spot for everyone to gather, relax, and celebrate together. We have reserved a room block at The Hotel Chalet for our guests. For guests flying in for the wedding, the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) will be the most convenient.

We’re so excited to celebrate with each of our guests! Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. To help us plan for dinner and seating, only the guests listed on your invitation are invited.Please note that dinner menu selections will be completed through the RSVP, so we won’t be able to accommodate additional guests.

Can I bring an additional guest?

While we love your little ones, we will not be having children under 21 attend our weekend events. We want all of our guests to be able to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the weekend, and we appreciate your understanding as we create the atmosphere we envision for our celebration.Please note that only the guests listed on your invitation are invited. If you have any questions or need clarification, we’re always happy to help. Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world to us as we celebrate this special moment.

Are children invited?

Yes! There will be plenty of parking available at the wedding venue for guests who choose to drive. For added convenience, we will also provide shuttle service between The Hotel Chalet and the wedding venue for those staying at the hotel.

Is there parking at the venue?

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our professional photographer to capture every special moment. After the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take photos and share in the celebration!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, so please keep the weather and terrain in mind when choosing your attire and footwear. Following the cocktail hour, we will move indoors for the reception, where dinner and dancing will continue into the evening. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in both beautiful settings!
